Privacy Policy

Memento Mane is an iPhone app made by Jeff Ai HQ LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we", "us"). It keeps the apps you choose closed for the first part of your morning. This policy explains what the app does with your information, which is very little.

By using Memento Mane you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Use.

Memento Mane is for people aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13. The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

We do not collect any data. Memento Mane has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours to send anything to. Everything the app needs is stored on your iPhone only:

• No name, email address or account
• No list of the apps you use or how long you use them
• No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone
• No advertising identifiers, and no advertising or analytics trackers
• No crash reports or usage statistics sent to us

Memento Mane uses two Apple features, and only with your permission:

• Screen Time. Lets the app pause the apps you pick. Apple keeps the details private: the app receives coded tokens, not app names, and cannot read your Screen Time reports. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy.
• Alarms. Lets the app ring your morning alarm through the iPhone's own alarm system.

You can turn either permission off at any time in the iPhone Settings app. Without them, Memento Mane cannot pause apps or ring your alarm.

No one. We do not receive your information, so we have nothing to sell, share or hand to advertisers.

Apple provides the App Store, the free week and the one-time unlock. When you start the free week or buy the unlock, the payment and your Apple ID are handled by Apple under its own terms. We never see your card number or your Apple ID.

If the law requires it, we would disclose what we hold, but because the app sends us nothing, we hold nothing about you beyond any email you send us yourself.

Everything Memento Mane stores is on your iPhone. To delete all of it:

1. Open Memento Mane, tap Today, and turn Mornings on off (this cancels the alarm).
2. Delete the app from your iPhone. This removes all of its data.

Your free week and unlock stay with your Apple ID, so if you install Memento Mane again they come back with Restore purchase. Apple keeps its own records of purchases you made through it.

If you email us at hello@jeffaihq.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.

We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, for example if the app ever starts sending any data off your phone, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
